There is always something innovative happening at this quaint, trendy eatery and it is best to follow The Whippet on twitter to see what is new each week. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dessert for "Little Ones" - children are welcome! In fact everyone is welcome!

The Whippet offers the standard hot drinks plus their own unique range of coffees and boutique teas, sweet things and pastries as well as deluxe smoothies, iced teas, and a small range of craft beer (Jack Black and Darling Brews), ciders, excellent wines as well as Cap Classique and cocktails.

The menu does change but what appealed to me on my last visit was the “Crostini Grilled Mushroom, Rosemary Tomatoes and Fresh Rocket Topped with Parmesan Served on Toasted Ciabatta”. Salads then ranged from R50 – R58 included ingredients of butternut to bacon, spinach and blue cheese. All very mouth-watering!
